What is Klasku, and what kind of school is it for?

Staff work in the tenant panel through a browser, while parents and teachers sign in to their own portals on a phone. The screens are built for non-technical admins, so there is no training program to schedule first; if setup stalls, our team helps over WhatsApp. One school account switches on four surfaces at once: the tenant panel for staff, the Parents Portal, the Teachers Portal, and your school's page on klasku.id. They all read the same data, so the attendance a teacher marks this afternoon is readable by parents immediately and immediately changes the remaining sessions the invoicing runs on.

Question 2

What if it is not a fit — can I stop?

Accepted Answer

Yes, any time. A Klasku subscription is monthly with no contract: stopping simply means the next renewal is not billed, with no penalty. Before you go, your school's data can be exported to a spreadsheet file on the Pro plan. The 14-day trial also runs without a credit card, so using it to the last day issues no invoice at all. The school you fill in during the trial is the same school you keep once you subscribe — nothing is migrated halfway through. School data is never used as a way to hold a customer in place. A student who leaves is closed through a status change, so their attendance and payment history stays intact, and permanent deletion under data protection law is carried out by our team on request — not through a button a staff member can hit by accident.

Question 3

Will my admin staff need special training?

No. The screens follow the daily work of a course-school admin — adding students, placing them into classes, marking attendance, issuing invoices — so what you learn is the flow, not the system's vocabulary. If setup stalls, our team helps over WhatsApp. Teachers need no training session either: you invite them from the Teachers menu, they sign in with a mobile number plus a 6-digit PIN from their own phone, and all that opens there is their schedule and their classes' attendance. What replaces training in Klasku is guardrails. A payment model must be chosen when a student is placed into a class, attendance refuses a student whose pack has run out and says which student, and an invoice that could never be settled is turned down at the input screen. A new admin can still misclick, but it is hard to create data nobody can explain.

Question 4

My school has only a few dozen students — is Klasku overkill?

There is no minimum student count. The smallest plan is built for a single-branch school, and the fewer students you have the faster you are running: branches, classes, schedules, and students can be entered by hand in one afternoon, with no import at all. What decides whether it fits is not the size of the school but whether you are still counting remaining sessions, chasing payments, and messaging parents one by one. That work does not shrink in proportion to student count — in a small school it is precisely what eats the owner's own time. Klasku's plan limits grow with the school: moving up a plan or adding student capacity never demands a change of system, and a second branch is created the day it actually exists. Data already entered never has to move again.

How is this different from keeping a spreadsheet?

A spreadsheet records; Klasku executes. Attendance marked by a teacher deducts the student's remaining sessions right then, invoices are issued on the date you set, reminders leave on their own, and parents check their child's remaining sessions without asking the admin. The difference shows most when a number is disputed. In a spreadsheet, remaining sessions is a figure somebody typed; in Klasku it is the result of the attendance history, so it can always be traced back to the session that deducted it — including when that attendance is corrected. Klasku also separates who may see what: teachers see no amounts, parents see only their own children, branch staff see only their branch. A spreadsheet file shared with many people has no boundary like that.

Is there a trial before subscribing?

Signup is self-service from the signup page on klasku.id, and the moment it finishes your school has its own address along with a live tenant panel, Parents Portal, and Teachers Portal. What you put into the school during the trial is your own data — classes, students, schedules, invoices. When you pick a plan, that same school carries on: nothing is rebuilt, nothing is imported twice. Klasku messages your school's contact before the trial ends, through the same channels as every other message, rather than switching the portals off unannounced. If you do not continue, what stops is access — the contents of the school are not thrown away the day the date passes.

Who uses Klasku inside one school?

Four groups, each with a surface of their own. Owners and admin staff work in the tenant panel on a computer browser; teachers use the Teachers Portal on a phone; parents use the Parents Portal on a phone; and the school has its own public page on klasku.id. What separates them is not the layout but the data boundary. Staff see what their role allows, teachers only the classes they teach, parents only their own children. All four read the same data, so the attendance a teacher marks this afternoon reaches parents without anyone copying it over. Adding people does not mean adding licenses to think about one by one: teachers and parents are invited from the tenant panel at no per-head cost, and what a plan counts is the number of staff seats and active students.

Question 8

Which kinds of courses is Klasku a good fit for?

Courses whose students come back on a schedule: tutoring and early literacy, music, languages, dance, swimming and martial arts, robotics, and one-on-one private lessons. Online classes work too, because a class can store its own meeting link. What decides the fit is not the subject but the shape of the money: if your students pay for a number of sessions — monthly, as a credit pack, or as a course with a fixed number of meetings — Klasku was built for exactly that. Private lessons use the same engine, only with a capacity of one. Programs in Klasku are separate from classes: one school can run Guitar, Violin, and Voice with their own report aspects and calendar colors, with many classes underneath. A school teaching two different fields therefore does not need two accounts.

Does Klasku also provide online learning material?

No. Klasku runs the administration of a school — students, schedules, attendance, session packs, invoices, report cards, and parent messaging — rather than supplying material, quizzes, or a virtual classroom. For online classes, what Klasku stores is the meeting link, which it sends to parents on the morning of the session. That boundary is deliberate. Course schools already have their own way of teaching and usually already use a video meeting app they like; what has no home yet is the administrative work — remaining sessions, invoices, and keeping parents informed. Because it never touches how you teach, Klasku can be adopted without changing your curriculum or your teachers' habits. What changes is where attendance and invoices are recorded, and that can start with a single branch.

Question 10

What devices does it need, and must everyone be online?

A browser is enough: a computer or laptop for staff, and an ordinary phone for teachers and parents. There is no app to install from a store, no program that updates itself, and no special hardware to buy. An internet connection is needed to open a screen and to save — including when a teacher marks attendance in class. That is why attendance is kept light: one screen, one roster, one save. The parent and teacher portals can also be added to a phone's home screen so they open like an app. School data lives on the server, not on anyone's phone. A teacher who changes phones, an admin who switches laptops, or a lost device therefore takes no data away — access is revoked from the tenant panel, and the history stays intact.

Question 11

What language and currency does Klasku use?

Indonesian throughout the tenant panel, the Parents Portal, and the Teachers Portal, including the messages sent to parents. The currency is the rupiah, written out in full as Rp 1.250.000, so no figure has to be interpreted twice. Every date and time is computed in the Asia/Jakarta time zone — schedules, make-up deadlines, invoice due dates, and automatic issuing. Month names are never abbreviated in messages, so a due date cannot be misread. Klasku's own public pages come in two languages, Indonesian and English, but the contents of your school stay exactly as you entered them: class names, program names, and report card notes appear as written.

If something stalls, who do I ask?

Our team, over WhatsApp — answered by a human, not a bot. The link sits on Klasku's public pages and inside the tenant panel, so a question does not have to wait for a ticket to be opened first. Inside the tenant panel there is also a short guide per screen for the questions that come up most during setup: the order in which to fill in the school, what each payment model means, and how to switch on message channels. What takes the most time at the start is rarely how a screen works — it is deciding the payment model for each class. So that decision is asked for at one clear point, when a student is placed into a class, rather than scattered across settings that are easy to miss.
