Is attendance marked by teachers or admins?

Both can, with different time limits. Teachers mark their class from a phone on the day the session runs; outside that day the screen is locked and says why. School admins may fill in and correct attendance at any time from the tenant panel.

A substitute teacher gets the same right as the original teacher for that day, so a class whose teacher is away is still marked on time. The history records who marked what.
